Growers might have different objectives and there are four aspects of grow lighting that can be adjusted to optimize the cultivation process. But this optimization process can get quite complex, as those four aspects are interrelated and other environmental parameters impact the effect of lighting as well. To develop a successful lighting strategy, it is crucial to collect as much data from varying settings as possible. And last, but not least, this process has to be conducted for different species and strains.
In the past, this research has mostly been done by renowned universities and big international corporations. But they have limited resources and they are often not willing to share their results. Especially for cannabis, available data is very limited.
Therefore we created the Cropter Community, to democratize this research and to speed up the process.
